The Tyumen regional branch of OSE (All-Russian Organization for the Development of Mixed Martial Arts) has been operating in Tyumen since 2019. The branch is part of the federation founded in 2012 to develop a universal combat system that combines hand-to-hand combat, sambo, karate, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu techniques.

Leadership and location

The branch in the Tyumen Oblast is headed by Igor Mikhailovich Shay – head coach of the «Shield and Sword» club, a specialist with 30 years of coaching experience. Under his control, work is organized with clubs, coaches, and athletes directly in Tyumen and the region.

Activities and events

The key event of the year is the open OSE tournament, held every spring starting from 2020. Participants from all corners of the Tyumen Oblast, as well as guests from neighboring regions, gather at the venue. This is not just a competition, but a display of strength, exchange of experience, and an opportunity for young fighters to make a name for themselves.

Training features

The OSE program includes the most effective methods of conducting a bout and self-defense, including developments used by the special forces of the FSVNG RF. In Tyumen, this methodology is adapted for different age groups: from junior ranks to adult athletes.

Mission

The OSE branch in Tyumen is not just a sports structure. Through martial arts, a generation with physical hardening, moral resilience, and patriotic consciousness is being formed here. Unified standards, regular competitions, and strong leadership make the Tyumen school noticeable on the all-Russian map of mixed martial arts.
