The regional branch of the Russian Union of Martial Arts in Ivanovo Oblast covers 22 municipalities and unites 24 clubs in Ivanovo, Kineshma, Shuya, Vichuga, Teikovo, and other settlements. More than 2,900 athletes train in the region's halls in 13 disciplines: sambo, judo, karate, kickboxing, hand-to-hand combat, grappling, pankration, and other directions.
