The Interregional OSE Tournament "Height 776" is an annual event in memory of the 6th Company of the Pskov Airborne Division. In 2026, the tournament was held for the tenth time.
The number 776 is not random. In 2000, the 6th company of Pskov paratroopers engaged in an unequal battle in Chechnya. Out of 90 fighters, only six survived. The feat became a symbol of courage for the entire army. The tournament format includes competitions among boys and girls aged 8–17 in two age categories. Participants demonstrate skills in mixed martial arts, showcasing preparation and character.
In 2026, 172 athletes from Kursk, Oboian, Ponury, Girey, Medvenka, Korenevo, and Zheleznogorsk took part. Honorary guests included representatives of the "Union of Paratroopers" and the "Kursk.Heroes!" project.
The tournament aims to develop patriotism, sports mastery, and a healthy lifestyle among youth. The Organization for the Development of Mixed Martial Arts "OSE" has been holding tournaments across Russia since 2012.
