All-Russian Tournament "OSE" – "Kursk Character"

The All-Russian OSE Tournament "Kursky Kharakter" is held in memory of SVO participant Dmitry Malakhov, who practiced sambo, and all military personnel who gave their lives in the line of military duty. The event was organized by the All-Russian Organization for the Development of Mixed Martial Arts "OSE" with the support of the Kursk regional branch of "Delovaya Rossiya".

The tournament brought together 122 young fighters from Kursk, Oboyan, Ponyri, Medvenka, Girey, Balashikha (Moscow region), and Korenovsk (Krasnodar Krai). Nine teams participated: SK "Patriot" (Oboyan), VSK "Olimp" (Moscow and Kursk), "Akademiya Edinoborstv" (Krasnodar), "Kurskaya Akademiya Edinoborstv", "Tsentr Sporta" (Medvenka), KBE "Chempion", BK "Sparta", and BK "Uragan" (all – Kursk).

Among the regions of the Russian Federation:

🥇 1st place – Kursk Oblast

🥈 2nd place – Moscow Oblast

🥉 3rd place – Krasnodar Krai

Among the participating teams:

🥇 1st place – Kurskaya Akademiya Edinoborstv

🥈 2nd place – SK "Patriot" (Oboyan)

🥉 3rd place – BK "Uragan" (Kursk)

The tournament became not only a competition but also an act of patriotic education. Honorary guests included representatives of government authorities, public organizations, veterans' associations, and the clergy. OSE President Sergey Evdokimov stated his intention to make the competitions traditional.

The goal of the event is to preserve the memory of the heroes' feat and pass on to the younger generation the values of courage, honor, and service to the Fatherland through sports.
