On May 9, 2026, in Yekaterinburg at the RMK Combat Sports Academy arena, the RCC Hard 19 tournament took place, headlined by the middleweight title fight between reigning champion Dmitry Savin and challenger Valeriy Myasnikov.

The fight turned out tense and technical. The first two rounds featured cautious feints and rare but precise strikes: both fighters landed damage, Savin cut Myasnikov's eyebrow, and the latter responded with powerful counterstrikes.

The turning point came in the third round: Myasnikov caught the champion hard with a jab on the counter and sent him to the canvas. However, Savin recovered quickly, got fired up, and began to dominate—his explosive doubles forced Valeriy to defend.

In the fourth and fifth rounds, a real slugfest ensued: tight exchanges at range, clinches, and pressure. Savin landed more often, dropped his opponent, and controlled the pace, while Myasnikov tried to win the late rounds with pressure.

After five rounds, all judges unanimously awarded the victory to Dmitry Savin, who retained his RCC Hard middleweight championship belt.
