Charles Oliveira is a Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter in the lightweight division, a 4th dan black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, born on October 17, 1989, in Guarujá, São Paulo state.
Biography
Charles Oliveira was born on October 17, 1989, in Guarujá, Brazil, into a poor family; he started training Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the age of 12 and became the champion of São Paulo two months later. He debuted in MMA in 2008, winning three fights in one night in regional Brazilian promotions. Since 2010, he has competed in the UFC.
