Later, Barcelos personally addressed the fans and stated that he was feeling well. He thanked the supporters for their backing and noted that he was satisfied with the fight itself, despite the outcome.
On September 29, the 39-year-old Brazilian posted his first video from a hospital bed. Barcelos stated that he continues to undergo the necessary examinations and intends to recover.
Before the fifth round, Raoni was leading on the scorecards of all three judges, but after the takedown, Rosas lost consciousness and the bout was stopped.
