Michael Morales wants to reach the UFC championship belt and listed his main rivals on the way. The Ecuadorian considers Shavkat Rakhmonov the most serious test.
Michael Morales outlined his plans for 2027 and addressed several welterweight division leaders at once.
The undefeated Ecuadorian has once again addressed Islam Makhachev and stated that he wants a title fight. If the UFC decides to match him with Carlos Prates first, Morales is also ready to accept that option.
But Michael saved his loudest statement for Shavkat Rakhmonov.
According to Morales, it is the Kazakhstani fighter who is final boss of the division and a potential major opponent for him in 2027. Earlier information emerged that Michael's next fight in January could be against Rakhmonov, but there has been no official announcement yet.
