Russian boxer Vadim Tukov will hold his next fight on May 30, 2026 in Yekaterinburg as part of the RCC boxing evening.
The tournament will take place at the UGMK-Arena venue and will be part of the card with the main event of the evening.
Tukov will have to defend his WBA Gold title in the middleweight division. His opponent will be Argentine Sebastian Papechi, who possesses an aggressive style and extensive experience in performances.
Papechi is a former South American and Argentine champion in two weight classes and will for the first time in his career get a chance to fight for a title of this level.
Tukov won the belt in the summer of 2025, stopping Kudratillo Abdurakhov early. Since then, the Russian has strengthened his position as one of the strongest middleweights in the country and has come closer to a world-level title fight.
The upcoming fight will be an important stage in Tukov's career and could bring him closer to fighting for a full-fledged championship title.
