Ahead of UFC 332, the event was heavily criticized for its weak card, yet the night ended with 11 knockouts in 14 bouts. Dana White did not miss the chance to respond to the skeptics.
Dana White took a shot at the critics after the unexpectedly exciting UFC 332.
Before the event, some experts called the card one of the weakest among the organization's numbered shows. In the end 11 out of 14 fights ended in knockouts, with nine of them in the first round..
White stated that not every one of the roughly 44 annual UFC events is required to look impressive on paper, and it is incorrect to judge a card in advance based on the participants' names.
One of the main stars of the evening was Roman Kopylov, who stopped Ateba Gautier in the first round and received $100,000 for "Performance of the Night".
