UFC has released the financial results of the event held at the White House.
UFC Freedom 250 tournament in Washington brought the organization a loss of about 30 million dollars due to high costs of holding the event and lack of ticket sales.
The event also showed record figures in merchandise sales and sponsorship deals. TKO Group Holdings estimated the media value of the tournament at approximately one billion dollars.
UFC CEO Dana White stated that the organization no longer plans to hold such events due to logistical difficulties and high costs.
